Misuzu is the first of the three girls featured in Air that meets Yukito Kunisaki. She befriends Yukito, and invites him to stay at her home. She is a cheerful, slightly clumsy girl, and often utters the pseudo-dinosauric phrase Gao when she feels troubled. Misuzu has a great love of dinosaurs, finding the story of their glory and extinction \"romantic.\" When she was young, she believed that baby chicks were young dinosaurs.
